When writting this blog, Im now sitting in Washington Dulles airport waiting for my flight to Montreal in 2 hours. I was supposed to be there already - taking part in the Young Liberals of Canada Biennial meeting and the convention of the liberal party, but delays in departing from Copenhagen resulted in missing my connection flight here in DC. :(
For the next days I will hopefully get to experience some of atmosphere that I missed a bit today. I will keep you posted for sure. :)
Biggest thing going on in IFLRY at the moment is the preparation of our GA in Andorra and getting things settled in London with our still relatively new office and with Sarah trying to get settled in order to succeed Monika as Executive Director. Many practical issues to be taken care of for sure in both cases.
Other things (besides being happy about our new webpage) going on is the planning for 2007. We have a few seminars coming up - Peru in february and Budapest in april + plenty of other activties that needs taking care of - but more about that later.
Next blog is coming hopefully from Canada...... if I ever get there - and if they will let me in :-) There are popping up new nations everywhere, but I didnt see Quebec beeing one of them, but I was apparently wrong, since the canadian parliament just voted on giving them the status of a nation. Who knows if they will let a liberal president enter.... :)
More to come......
