The seminar in Lima was exciting.  (We had a very nice warm weather!) There were representatives from eight Latin American organisations and indeed a big delegation of Europeans. The seminar topic was youth cooperation for youth participation and our main objective was to promote cooperation among LA and EU organisations, with the idea to increase youth participation in both continents.

The lectures were very interesting indeed. They let us have ideological debates about liberal values. This was very important because it showed some of our differences and along with similarities among our liberal family.

Aside from having this chance to meet with each other, we also had as a result of this seminar many project ideas to have a joint work. Participants were very willing to put ideas forward such as. seminars, study visits, campaigns, and even ideas for IFLRY partnerships.

Also, during this time Julia has the chance to meet and make an analysis on what has been done until now, and what are the main problems Julia has currently.  Julia also planned what activities will be done during the up coming year.  This was a clear result of what IFLRY wants regarding to promote strengthening of regional organisations.

As you might know already we had some health problems with our European delegation. Our friends got a travel virus and many of them had to stay in bed for some time, finally all of them get better and at the end we even had some Latinos get sick...
