A Protocol of Collaboration was signed on the 9th of May, in Arad Romania, between the branches of two IFLRY Member Organizations: TNL Arad (Romania) and Uj Generacio Szeged (New Generation; Hungary). The neighbouring cities acknowledged the importance of strong cooperation and collaboration within the frame of ALDE, the value of tolerance and openness, the importance of close cooperation and collaboration between the cities of Arad and Szeged, seen in the frame of the E.U. regional policies, and therefore proposed to develop a long term collaboration with the following aims:

• Strenghten the collaboration relationship through common activities
• Promote liberal values
• Promote tolerance between Romanian and Hungarian Youth
• Exchange of best practices in the field of youth activities
• Study and compare E.U. policies’ effects on life in Arad and Szeged
