LP CREATES A YOUTH GROUP
The
Liberal Party held a Liberal Youth Leaders Assembly on August 25, 2007
at the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement in Quezon City. This
was a joint activity of the Liberal Party and the National Institute
for Policy Studies (NIPS).
The
objective of the said activity was to gather the youth leaders, old and
new, of the Liberal Party. Lectures were given by experts and an open

While Atty. Chito Gascon, LIBERTAS executive director and a NIPS managing trustee, discussed “Making the youth vote real for 2010: A strategic framework for the assembly of youth leaders for democracy”.\u003c/font\>\u003c/div\> \u003cdiv style\u003d\"margin:0in 0in 0pt;text-align:justify\"\>\u003cfont size\u003d\"3\"\> \u003c/font\>\u003c/div\> \u003cdiv style\u003d\"margin:0in 0in 0pt;text-align:justify\"\>\u003cfont size\u003d\"3\"\>In the afternoon session, newly elected LP representative of the Lone District of Bilira, Glenn Ang Chong, had a plenary discussion on the “Basis of Unity for the Liberal Youth Leaders Assembly”. LP Director General Chit Asis and NIPS Executive Director Lambert Ramirez facilitated the discussion. \u003c/font\>\u003c/div\> \u003cdiv style\u003d\"margin:0in 0in 0pt;text-align:justify\"\>\u003cfont size\u003d\"3\"\> \u003c/font\>\u003c/div\> \u003cdiv style\u003d\"margin:0in 0in 0pt;text-align:justify\"\>\u003cfont size\u003d\"3\"\>The fourth and last topic “Building youth power for real reforms: Specific agenda for Liberal Youth Organizing” was discussed by LP past president and former Secretary of Education, Atty.
