South Caucasus Digital Peace Building Workshop

📢 Call for Applications: South Caucasus Digital Peacebuilding Workshop: Reclaiming Narratives | Yerevan, Armenia | 5 to 8 November, 2026.

IFLRY invites young liberal activists from Eastern Partnership and Western Balkan countries to apply for the South Caucasus Digital Peacebuilding Workshop: Reclaiming Narratives, a 4-day workshop taking place in Yerevan, Armenia.

The workshop will explore how disinformation, manipulated historical narratives, ethno-nationalist mobilisation, and authoritarian framing shape political discourse and contribute to social divisions. Participants will develop practical analytical and digital tools to better understand these dynamics and respond to them through democratic and peace-oriented approaches.

Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, and peer-to-peer exchange, participants will learn how to:

✅Identify and deconstruct historical myths and manipulated memory politics rooted in post-Soviet and conflict-era narratives;

✅Analyse how ethno-political rhetoric is used to shape public opinion and consolidate political power;

✅Detect coordinated disinformation campaigns and patterns of hybrid influence;

✅Develop counter-narratives that promote democratic values, cross-border cooperation, and shared socio-economic interests.
