SWANA
The SWANA Programme is a regional network within IFLRY that brings together individual members and member organizations from across the Middle East and North Africa. It aims to raise awareness on democracy, human rights, and liberal values, while addressing the political, social, and economic challenges specific to the region. The programme organizes capacity-building trainings, political education seminars, and advocacy campaigns, equipping young liberals with the tools and knowledge to actively shape their communities. It supports local partners through practical resources and strategic collaboration, and promotes inclusive dialogue, political participation, and democratic reform across the region.

El Ghali Ouali Alami
El Ghali Ouali Alami is a Moroccan medical student with an additional background in Entrepreneurship and Economic Development from the University of Massachussetts (UMASS). Currently working as a Regional Youth Champion for North Africa & West Asia with the DTH-Lab, El Ghali works with stakeholders and youth for better youth-led digital health governance and reform. He has experience training in topics like digital health governance and technology, meaningful youth engagement and self development.
